I love to do many things but can't seem to find one particular thing that I am truly great at. I love to be creative whether it's coming up with something interesting for dinner or making some sort of crocheted blanket. I love to sing and I love to read. I really love to read. I devour books as fast as I get them. Funny coming from a video store owner but there it is.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 12 years. It's hard to believe it's been that long. I have to say I truly did marry my best friend and am happy to say that even three kids and 12 years later, we still never run out of things to talk about.
I am very much a living in the moment kind of gal. While I try not to do too much "drama", I do find myself succumbing to the if it's good, it's all good and if it's bad, it's all bad theory of thinking. I love my husband and kids 95% of the time the other 5% they plain old just drive me crazy. (To be honest that 95% is probably a little high)
Strangely enough I started blogging before I had ever heard of the term when I was expecting my first child. After having my daughter, I gave up blogging since I found myself with very little free time as I adjusted to the demands of a new baby. That and the fact that having to edit and set up my own posts via Geocities was much to time consuming. Not like the easy blogging formats now. So technically I've been blogging for 8 years now with a small hiatus in between. One of these days I'm going to have to drag out those old posts and repost them.
I love connecting with other women and/or moms out there. Blogging and the internet has given me a way to do that that far out reaches the small confines of my own community. If you are new to my blog or just have something you'd like to share with me, please do. I'd love to hear from you.
