Root Canal Tuesday

Well three days later, an early morning dental appointment and the verdict is in. I can no longer put it off, a root can is needed and will be this afternoon. Dum dum dummmmm.

Of course, it's the worse possible day for it. Not only have I had company all weekend, but they are leaving today around the same time I have to be at the dentist. So far I've struck out with 2 people for short notice sitting. Argh.

I hate to ask my MIL because she will be fussing and making sure the relatives don't forget anything. Because you know if she doesn't remind you 10 times to not forget your wallet and cell phone, you won't possibly remember it on your own. Just like if she doesn't tell you to drive safe that's a sure fire gurantee that you will drive erractically and crash and die and it will be all her fault. Which it will be. ;)

Can I say I am just a little trepidatious about this root canal this afternoon. I was a little stressed when I had my last filling, it had been so many years since I had to have one. I blame O, of course, cause I was pregnant with him when I was supposed to have had xrays. I didn't end up having x-rays for a year later and bam I had the mother of all cavities, which if I had of caught it earlier it wouldn't have strayed into this whole root canal business. Then again I suppose if I brushed better, (isn't it amazing that no matter how much you brush, it's never really good enough?) flossed more then I wouldn't have had a cavity to detect..... so O's off the hook. ;)

Plus I have to work tonight. I just hope I won't be too frozen to talk to the customers. In the meantime, I have to go break the bad news to my MIL.

Have a great Tuesday all.
